Key Features

• Thanks to its extremely high sensitivity, the 12 MHz B-Scan probe allows acquisition of details images of the posterior segment and especially the vitreous and the orbit.
• The 20 MHz probe, with a resolution of up to 150 microns and a scanning depth greater than 40mm, is particularly indicated for the diagnosis of retinal and choroidal pathologies.
• The 25 MHz probe is the highest frequency and so provides the highest resolution of all the probes designed for diagnosis of the posterior segment on the market.
• The 35 MHz probe has a resolution of up to 70 microns and a scanning depth of up to 7-8mm. These characteristics, along with its elevated sensitivity, make it particularly suited to the visualization of the entire anterior segment and to use with the touch UBM technique.
• The 50 MHz probe has a resolution of up to 35 micron with a scanning depth of up to 5mm. These characteristics make it suited to the extremely high resolutions studies of the iridocorneal angle and the specific structures of the anterior segment.
• All of the probes, including the 25, 35 and 50 MHz probes, can be used with both contact and immersion techniques.
• HiScan Touch is the only ultrasound with an integrated system for the 3D reconstruction of the anterior and posterior segment.
