• Post-Operative Care and Co-Management Post-operative assessment is essential to quantify surgical trauma and monitor tissue rejection from ocular surgery. Even during uneventful phacoemulsification, endothelial cell loss can be as high as 15%, therefore monitoring subsequent cell morphology during the healing process is critical. It may also be useful for monitoring signs of tissue rejection, for example post DMEK.

This is particularly valuable when assessing corneal graft features, glaucoma shunts, localized trauma or disease and other location critical features. Cell density and morphology assessment is displayed at each point along with Konan’s unique histogram visualization of key cellular statistics.
• Location Specific Data Samples And Trends Analysis CellChek software automatically records the location from which the data sample was acquired. Trending progression of cellular data over time is critical to understanding tissue responses and is a unique feature of CellChek. Without location data, trending is simply meaningless.
• Non-Contact Pachymetry CellChek features non-contact pachymetry at each of the five data sample sites. Independent studies have shown the pachymetric values to be as accurate as ultrasonic pachymetry, with less potential trauma to the cornea.*
